This is where we will keep you updated with our planning and consenting related information.  You will be able to read about all our planning associated documents, planned survey activity and details of public consultation events.

• The Project is applying for consent to construct and operate an offshore generating station under Section 36 of the Electricity Act 1989. This process is managed by Planning and Environmental Decisions Wales (PEDW) on behalf of Welsh Ministers. For more information on this process click here.
• In parallel, a Marine Licence will be applied which is consented under Part 4 of the Marine and Coastal Access Act 2009. The Marine Licence is administered by Natural Resources Wales Marine Licensing Team (NRWMLT) on behalf of Welsh Ministers. For more information on this process click here.
• The Project is intending to submit two S36 Consent and Marine Licence applications: one for Llŷr 1 and one for Llŷr 2.
