Ambroise leads the global portfolio of offshore wind projects under development at SBM Offshore.   During his 13 years with SBM Offshore, Amboise has devoted his time to the development of the offshore renewable industry in various roles from material engineer to project manager, leveraging oil and gas know how and safety culture to deliver in a complex and dynamic environment.  Ambroise is passionate about leading the energy transition in a sustainable and socially empowering way, dedicating his efforts to reach the targets of the Paris Agreement.

Severine Baudic

Severine leads renewables, gas and digital services at SBM Offshore and was appointed as Managing Director of New Energies and Services in January 2021. As a hydrodynamics engineer, she has managed breakthrough technology projects. Severine is a graduate of France’s SeaTech School of Engineering and has an MSc in Civil Engineering from the University of Houston.

Mikael founded CIERCO Corporation in 2001.  With 33 years experience in the wind sector Mikael has held senior management roles with some of the biggest and most progressive names in the business including Wind World, BTM, Enron, EDF/Aircole and 2B Energy. His first offshore turbine started turning in 1989 and since then he has built up an unrivalled knowledge of the wind energy sector from development to deeper technology understanding as well as operational experience.

Over the past 20 years, Olivier has delivered many large-scale energy infrastructure projects including France’s Provence Grande Large wind farm. During that time, he has developed a wealth of experience and developed all of the financial, M&A, controlling and reporting skills need to facilitate floating offshore wind development.

Jodie is an aeronautical engineer who transferred her skills to the renewable energy industry in 2011 on the back of her passion for the environment.  Jodie has since developed PEM fuel cell systems, implemented onshore wind farms, and for the past two years focused on the development of offshore floating wind power.  She brings experience in project management, DEVEX and CAPEX modelling and technical expertise on wind turbine generator and turbine supply agreement contract negotiations and construction activities.

Tess has over 20 years’ experience in the fields of stakeholder relations, communications and events.  Having delivered major international events on the world stage, she has for the last decade managed integrated consultation, communications, and public affairs programmes for nationally significant infrastructure projects.  An adaptive strategic thinker she has considerable experience working with government, business leaders, academics and the community when preparing programmes to ensure the long term legacies of new industries benefit those that live in the region where they are hosted.

Cian is Head of Development in the UK & Ireland for SBM Offshore, where he manages a portfolio of floating wind projects, including the Llŷr Project.  A leading innovator in renewables for 15 years, Cian has been at the forefront of emerging technology and development in the floating wind sector since its inception.   He first began working in renewables in 2008 and quickly moved exclusively to offshore wind.  In 2014 Cian joined the ORE Catapult where he began to focus on foundations and balance of plant.   Very quickly he moved into floating wind, leading the way in developing the technology road map for the UK and publishing the floating wind strategy roadmap which subsequently led to the establishment of the Floating Wind JIP (Joint Industry Project) between government and industry in 2015. Since then he has been working on the delivery of early commercial and commercial scale projects globally from both a floating platform and project development perspective.

Vicky is a professional project manager and is responsible for managing and delivering floating offshore wind projects at SBM Offshore. She has 20 years’ technical and strategic experience in delivering large-scale engineering design and construction projects. For the last decade, her skills and knowledge have been applied to steering flagship offshore renewable energy programmes. She has a deep working knowledge of the sector and has trusted relationships with leading developers, industry experts, supply chain partners and engineering consultants. She works collaboratively on multi-stakeholder projects and is skilled in bridging-the-gap between regulators, industry, academia, government and non-governmental participants.

Alex is a technology and supply chain expert with more than 18 years’ experience in the offshore and onshore renewable energy sectors, over a decade of which has been spent focussing on offshore wind supply chains.  Since 2005 Alex has been involved in the development, planning and construction of on and offshore wind projects across the world with a focus on Europe and the UK.  He has worked as both a project manager and project developer as well as representing industry leading tier 1 and tier 2 service and equipment suppliers in sales and business development functions.  Alex brings an in depth understanding of the renewable and specifically offshore wind supply chains.  He joined CIERCO in 2021 to explore exciting new opportunities to unlock supply chain innovations and value for fixed and floating wind projects.

Jay has a track record of supporting offshore wind farm projects across the UK from early concept through to operational phases.  Jay’s experience also includes work in tropical coral reefs and marine projects in California.   Jay brings expertise in offshore wind farm consenting, offshore environmental constraints analyses, Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA); Habitat Regulations Assessments (HRA); stakeholder engagement strategy, coordination and implementation, commercial fisheries liaison, post consent compliance and consenting risk identification and avoidance strategy for offshore renewables.

A Welsh speaker with a proven track record in energy, Ioan began his career with British Coal in South Wales before being appointed as Head of Community Regeneration with BITC, Chief Executive of Young Enterprise Wales and Director of BTCV Cymru. Ioan was joined Tidal Lagoon Power as a Development Director in 2013 and was responsible for nurturing a supply chain in Wales. He successfully championed the independent Wales Tidal Industry Advisory Group before joining Keolis Amey as their Development Director in Wales responsible for senior stakeholder engagement and embedding the joint venture in Wales as the operators of Transport for Wales.

She has since headed up a number of in-house communications teams and held Director roles with several Cardiff-based PR agencies, but she is arguably best known for her work on Swansea Bay Tidal Lagoon, a major infrastructure project (NSIP) and the proposed Global Centre of Rail Excellence in Wales.

She was previously Deputy Leader at Monmouthshire Council, and championed issues around diversity and social justice, focusing on building community connections across the county.  As a former head of Grayling Wales, Sara has extensive experience in working for clients to build their objectives and presence in Wales.

His remit covers the entire project life cycle.

Olivier has held senior executive positions in the wind energy industry since 2005. He started his career in the project management division at Nordex, one of the world leading wind turbine manufacturers. In 2010, he was appointed Head of Operation at EuroCape New Energy (independent power producer) and has been responsible for the construction and the operation of wind projects in Central and East Europe. From 2019 to 2022, as Executive Project Director, he managed the construction of the utility scale 400 MW wind project of Dumat Al Jandal, in Saudi Arabia. He joined SBM Offshore in 2022 to support the development of the Llŷr floating wind project.

Emilia is civil and structural engineer with 15 years of experience in the offshore renewable and marine energy sector. During her career she has managed FEED, detail design and all execution phases for fixed bottom offshore wind structures on key large scale commercial projects in the UK. She has ‘hands on’ experience acquired from working onboard installation vessels, fabrication yards and enhanced with O&M offshore inspections.   At Floventis, Emilia is responsible for managing EPCI contractors for floating wind projects, focusing on technical feasibility and delivery, whilst overseeing complete project design verification by independent verification bodies.
